There is this saying: “If you love something, you have to let it go, and if it truly loves you and is meant to be in your life, it will come back to you.” I never understood the meaning; I thought it wasn’t very interesting. But over the past couple of weeks, I figured it out and figured a piece of myself out. In this journey of life, we can hurt people, or we can love people. The choice is entirely ours. Love formed out of selfishness never flourishes as nature intends it to. It can’t be forced. Slowly, it takes time, and when the elements render their force on nature, nature fights back with grace, mercy, intelligence, and love. I implore my dear readers not to let the wrong decisions, mistakes, and fear run the life you deserve to build for yourself.
That is the way of life: we suffer, learn, and grow like nature. If something big is taken out of your life, imagine the opportunities and future God is replacing it with. Now again, don’t let this confuse you with greed. You cannot be greedy and have the world and beauty in it. Destruction through hate doesn’t build empires. It builds questions against character, against who you are, and your faith and being.
As humans, we are going to mess up. We will go through cycles to work out our past problems because God is creating a space for us to grow and thrive. Cast your burdens and learn the lesson behind the hurt. Is it painful? Yes, but life is meant for you to experience pain. How would you not continue to get back up day in and day out for the sake of just getting up? God wants you to have that peace, love, courage, and bravery and carry it all the days of your life. He puts mirrors in front of our faces to acknowledge the pain and hear what the pain is saying to everyone. God challenges every part of you so that he can build the bigger picture.
God loves you unconditionally, and Jesus loves you unconditionally. Life, hope, and faith want you to thrive in it with authenticity and genuine courage.

Always,
-The 56th Mile of Life
