Dear Wondering Reader,
Out of all the things in life each of us, since we were a child, has looked up to a role model. Someone who leads us and guides us producing qualities of creativity, uniqueness, and above all encourages success. Someone who is a leader and pushes boundaries and takes chances. Well, this writer has many role models. People that have inspired me to go on the path that I am on. Role models come in all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. You don’t have to be famous to be a role model, all you must be, is yourself and the rest will take flight.
For example, one of my role models is Joyce Myer. Joyce Myer was a women I grew up watching on ABC Family. I still watch her sermons till this day. In the hardest moments of my life, I would hear one of Joyce’s sermons and I knew that not only was I learning more about myself but also about my relationship with God. Joyce Myer helped teach me how to forgive myself, overcome my past, but also helped lead me back to a more fulfilling relationship with God. Today Joyce still teaches Gods word you can find videos of her preaching on YouTube, or you can go to Joyce Myer Ministries Website.
She is a leader and an outstanding role model! She has many projects that have helped people around the world and is an amazing example of unconditional and tough love. Joyces’ Project GRL is inspiring she helps women and young girls find “Rescue, relief, and healing”. She does all this through educating the public, fighting hunger, combating human trafficking, and above all just love. Her relationship with God is inspiring and beautiful and her heart and person reflect that.
So why is a role model so important? Role models show us how to be better, live a fuller life, and show us how to overcome challenges in life even when we hit rock bottom. To have a role model also helps you get in touch with the foundation of yourself. So, today my dear readers I want you to do something that might be a little scary, think about the future you want. The example you want to set, and how your role models influence your success in life. Find your ground and footing. Heck you never know, you just might be someone’s role model!
