Hello My Wondering Readers,

I have to be honest even this author struggles with writer’s block on occasion. But that’s the beautiful thing about the 56th mile, the road does not end until you do. Many people that have stumbled across this blog often ask what the 56th mile is? How i came up with the name? What is its true purpose? Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Here are those answers.

This blog was designed to open you up, and get you out of that uncomfortable narrow-minded box that all of us tend to get in. This blog is meant to inspire and have you think critically but also help on your journey of life. The blog is only meant for good intentions. In a way it is also a place where no one has to feel limited. It offers individuals a chance on advice and guidance. It also provides opportunities for challenges and new places. It helps individuals dive deep and think of facing those fears in the mirror, whether it is yourself or outside forces.

The 56th mile is and always will be the road map of each and every single one of our journeys. But like all roads there are turns and bends. Which is why it is a little bit of everything and a little bit of nothing. It is also a way to tell my story and work, cause while I am figuring things out, I am not leaving you all, behind. Dream work makes the teamwork. The 56th mile is its own form of unconditional love that takes sacrifice, strength, and fiery unyielding passion.

I hope that by “The End” I have touched people’s lives in a way that will ingrain future generations to be better than the ones that have come before. Thats all I could ask for the world and the people in my life. The absolute best for all of you. Because eventually all roads do end, maybe not right now, but one day the writing will stop, and so will the 56th mile. But by the end of this I know that I left a mark on this world for the better. So………

Are you ready to finally face the 56th mile? Because once you do you might see the world for what it is: amazing, beautiful, full of life and opportunities. Do not let this scare you. If it does, my friend, that is when you need to jump because that is when life starts to happen. Courage is not present without fear. God did not bring you on the earth to be dormant, he brought you on this earth to be loud, happy, ambitious, and to make an impact.

Take a hold of those reins, get in that saddle, and succeed. If you fall off brush the dirt off, say a prayer, and get back on. I promise that this ride is one you won’t ever want to forget, but it takes a choice, accountability, responsibility, discipline, and above all compassion. I cannot wait to see all that we do and the impact that we make.

This Post is dedicated to a very special human being in my life that has stood by me had many accomplishments and strived to create a better life not only for herself but also the community. My darling girl as you graduate and get your master’s the work that is coming your way is truly an inspiration and will make a huge impact. Congratulations Jess!!!

Always,

-56
